The world’s first full face transplant has been done in France. This landmark operation that lasted for more than 12 hours was carried at the Creteil-Mondor hospital in Paris. The patient was a 35-year-old man known only as Jerome (not last name given). The French man whose face was deformed as a result of genetic defect has received his facial features from a dead donor.
