What is Claustrophobia and how it is caused?
Claustrophobia or Panic attack is a very common psychological state which you might found even in many people with great quality and skill. The panic attack is the illness that is caused by fear to going public. By going public, I mean going for a speech or something like that when people will concentrate at that person. The medical name of the panic attack is the claustrophobia.
The claustrophobia is actually a social phobia. The victim of claustrophobia fears to go in front of people and thinks that everyone is concern about him or in many cases, the victim thinks that everybody will make fun of him. If not cured, the patient will go to in a stage where he will be afraid even to go out. With time he will be lonelier.
How to treat and cure Claustrophobia?
The most important thing to solve the problem of claustrophobia is the understanding of the patient himself. First of all, the victim needs to be notified that he has claustrophobia and needs treatment, because, the will power is the key to recover claustrophobia.
The doctor has to suggest the patient to give himself auto suggestions against claustrophobia and also he needs to encourage the patient of talking to people. A great part of panic attack circles around the lack of confidence.
The doctor must give extra care to the problem. Another big cause of claustrophobia is having depression. Long term depression or the clinical depression may leads to panic attack. Sometimes, the claustrophobia is just genetic or any terrible experience from the childhood.
The panic attack is not a physical problem and so it will not cure with the use of medicine. Some medicines are used for claustrophobia, but that only to make the nerves more strong. Some medicine are also given for getting better sleep, but there is no any only medicine treatment. The doctors usually use different therapies and the degree of the therapies depends on the severity of the attack.
