Although a 10-day water fasting is the recommended number of days but it usually depends on the metabolism of the individuals thus making water fasting difficult.
There are a lot of benefits we can get from water fasting. It helps remove toxins from our body. And it has a more good effects rather than drinking juice for fasting because water helps fight against the formation of cancer.

- One must be mentally prepared. This means that the less pressure you have, the better the results. Don’t abruptly fast say for a month. Try tapering your water fast until your body will get used to not ingesting and eating other substance other than water.
- Do not use tap water- Use distilled water instead because it contains properties for cleansing and have the ability to absorb toxins compared to tap water where there is a possibility of a presence of bacteria.
- Have a good rest- since your body lacks fuel for energy due to lack of glucose intake, it is recommended to take some time off and do not over-worked.

On the initial days of fasting, one must be prepared as to how to avoid headache, dizziness and other symptoms by taking a single meal at least once per day.
