Intestinal parasites or worms are one-cell organisms which dwells in small and large intestine feeding on the blood and stool found in the walls inside. Tapeworms, roundworms and flukes can be found in the stomach which is several meters or millimeters in size. They suck the blood and the content of bowels to survive. These worms are found in contaminated water, food, lakes and pools where there are industrial changes. Some can be found among homosexual men too!
During rainy season, the risk of intestinal parasites or worms are more and affects the children mostly and then the adults. These worms are called by many names in terms of science.
Causes for intestinal parasites:
Food is the main cause for intestinal parasites. When food is half cooked like meat, the eggs of the worms tend to get inside the human body system through bad food and water. They enter in the blood and try to reproduce inside the body. Fingers which are full of dirt give place to roundworms. Same way, tapeworms are found in half cooked food whether its meat, rice and any kind of food. They find their way through infections too as it is contagious and lead to many kind of disease like diarrhea, dark circles, anemia, vomiting etc.
Treatment for intestinal parasites:
As mentioned, food is the main cause of this disease so one needs to have proper and clean diet. One needs to give up or avoid fatty food substances like butter, cheese and even meat products. Instead of these, try fresh fruits and vegetables for the next few days till the time the parasites or worms are not eliminated totally from the body system and the blood. Consult your doctor for a balanced diet as you might feel hungry during intervals and you can have raw fruits and vegetables juices that time. Do not freeze any food as it increases the parasites. Wash your hands before you sit to eat food. The time period for having such type of diet and food depends on the parasites and worms you have in the intestines. In some cases, like tapeworms, the diet should be longer than a week.
