Knee injuries can be very tricky thing. It one of such places where the injury does not go away, even it is just a minor cut. Among the most common knee injuries in active people two types are the most important. The first one can be caused by an accident and the second one needs no accident, instead it can grow for no serious reason.
The accidents that cause the knee injuries are mainly occur by falling on the ground on the knees. The common knee injuries by falling on the ground usually not happen while walking. It has a far greater chance while running and climbing the stairs.
The accidents may cause breaking ligament, displacement of the knee bones, displacement of the knee cap and breaking the bone. The breaking of ligament may occur for no reason and you might just break it while simply walking on the stairs slowly. The knee cap and bone displacement can occur if you fall down to earth hardly and the fall was not perfectly on the middle of the knee.
The bone breaking can also happen for the same reason, but has more sever outcome. Any one of these problems can be very serious and make you suffer for a long time. If you have one of them, never try to make it fit by yourself and go to a doctor immediately.
The second type occurs for no direct reason; instead if you work for a long time in standing position or in a position where you have to put a lot of pressure on your knee, it might get weak and lose its work ability. This mainly happens to the older people. This kind of knee injuries is very common among the older generation in some of the hard working countries in the world.
Another reason for most common knee injuries is the food habit. The knee is built on the bones and the bones need a lot of potassium to have a strong buildup. If your food chart does not have enough supply of potassium and other necessary ingredients for bones, it might become weak over a long run.
