Natural Home Remedies for Oily Skin

Oily skin make the skin look dull,shiny and thick. Oily skin is prone to blackheads, because of this sebaceous glands present in the skin are over reactive and produce oil more than we needed. Oily skin gives greasy shine on face. The pores on the skin enlarges and gives coarse look. The main causes of oil skin are harmonal levels in skin.

Here are some of the simple yet effective ways to treat oily face at home.

crab apple paste for oily skin 1. Crab Apple Paste

The paste of  a crab apple should be applied round the neck and over the face  for 20 minutes .after then the face should be washed  with lukewarm water. Alpha hydroxy acids helps to soften the skin tone as it is a  rich source .the alpha hydroxy acids presents in lukewarm water .so the lukewarm water moisturizes the dull oily skin.

sandlewood paste 2. Sandalwood powder paste

Make a paste by taking  a half tablespoon of the sandalwood powder in a bowl and  add a few little drops of water to it .Apply the paste round the neck and over the face completely .The paste should not be applied to eye area. Let dry  the paste for sometime after then was with tepid water .the tepid water reduces wrinkles  and makes free from oil skin.

clay mask for oily skin 3. Clay mask

The benefit to the oily skin would be given by the clay mask  as it is having deep cleansing property. Take 2  tablespoons of  green clay , 2-3 drops of lemon juice also take the one tablespoon of honey and plain yogurt with 2-3 drops of  lavender oil ,add water to it to become creamy by mixing it.  Gently massage the  paste over the face and round the neck .after ,the dried paste  should be cleaned with the lukewarm water ,you will free from oily skin.

tomato facial mask 4. Tomatoes facial mask

Take the fresh tomatoes  and make it puree .apply it over the face and round the neck , leave   eye area alone . let it be dry and after then wash with tepid water .. Do it twice for a week. you can feel your skin dry.

cleanser 5. Use Cleansers

The cleanser  should be followed  with an astringent ,this will help you to extract oil from the skin . the best way to keep our skin dry is to avoid an astringent  having alcohol-based products. Better to avoid such alcohol-based products which strip oil from face.

papaya for oily skin 6. Papaya mask

Take a raw papaya and make it pulpy. Apply the pulp of papaya all over the face. It reduces the oil from the skin . the papaya having cleansing action nature which makes the dead skin cells soften . it both aids the dead skin cells and  remove them from the skin.

use dry soap for oily skin 7. Use drying soaps

To keep your skin dry  wash your skin with drying soap having more fat level. do it thrice for a day ,the skin pores does not produce much oil otherwise it produces high amount of oil from the skin.
