Itchy scalp is a very common problem faced by innumerable people across the world. Every person uses some or the other shampoo to keep the hair healthy. But they fail to understand that the shampoo can cause the scalp to itch. The process of hair coloring also involves dabbing your hair with chemicals which add up slowly towards damaging your hair and leading to itchy scalp along with dry hair. Straightening your hair or getting a perm also has negative effects on the scalp and hair. Other than these chemicals, an itchy scalp can also be caused by your genes. Yes, it is also a hereditary problem. Also in some rare medical conditions the scalp bears the brunt.

If itchy scalp problems are not looked after, soon enough you might reach a stage where nothing can be done much about it. If you lose most of your hair and then decide to act, it would be really late unless you go for hair transplant. But do not let an itchy scalp lead you to that stage. Shampoos can be harmful but not all of them. Shampoos can be used to solve an itchy scalp provided you choose the right one not containing any harmful chemicals. Get professional help just to prevent any further damage to hair. Take care not use any products that could cause allergic reactions.
