CPR – Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is very important to learn as the rate of heart attack is increasing day by day, where CPR can be put to use for the people whose heart has stopped ticking because of accidents, strokes or due to some other medical conditions. The leading cause for numerous deaths is the sudden arrest of cardiac, and CPR comes in the picture when the medical aid is not available at the right time. If followed the CPR procedures properly, the chance of survival is increased and comes handy in any kind of emergency unless a doctor visits the patient and the damage is rectified by giving life to the person.
While using a CPR, the damage can be rectified and is irreversible till medical help is available. One should continue the whole process of CPR so that the patient is sustained without any big damage. Sometimes the heart is pumping but the breathing stops thus leading to brain damage due to the lack of oxygen which helps the brain to work. It differs from patient to patient that whether the brain will be damaged or not. Deaths can occur in couple of minutes if there is no oxygen supplied to the brain. During that time using the CPR – Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, procedure is more than fair to try and prohibits from any kind of real damage, other words helps the person to regain his life again.
While performing CPR, there are certain things which you need to remember. The vital organs in the body should be kept alive, even though the patient escapes through the heart attack but because of the organs they lose their life. We need to keep the flowing of blood all over the body while doing the CPR or chest compressions (medical term) so that they organs are alive inside the body till the heart isn’t working as sometimes chest compression doesn’t work and is not that effective for the person who has suffered a heart attack. The amount of time taken by the doctors to visit the patient, CPR reduces the risk involved till the medical help reaches.
