For 2200 British women polled, fitting into skinny jeans was revealed as more satisfying than sex. The women admitted they kept old jeans that were too small as part of a fantasy to slim down and fit back into their skinny jeans. In some cases, the women confessed their jeans lasted longer than their relationships.
The study was done by Special K – the cereal that promises a slimmer physique if you just eat their product to cut calories. For women, fitting into a pair of old jeans produced a sense of euphoria that for some topped having sex.
In the study, 29.1 percent of women said fitting into a pair of skinny jeans would feel better than sex, and 20.3 percent of women said that putting on a pair of smaller jeans would be better than winning the lottery.
According to Laura Bryant, a representative of Special K cereals, ”Women hold a deep attachment to that one pair of jeans which they know they look and feel great in. They use them as a benchmark and a great motivational tool when slimming and it doesn’t matter how old the pair is. This research shows the sense of euphoria and the endorphin rush women get when they achieve their goal of fitting back into that one special pair of jeans is even better or on a par with some of the other great pleasures in life,” like sex, money, and even a marriage proposal. Eleven percent of women said slipping into a pair of skinny jeans would top getting married.
Most of the women said they owned five pair of jeans. Ten percent confessed their jeans outlived relationships. Just over twenty percent of women said fitting into skinny jeans would be better than going to the wedding of a best friend. Fitting into a pair of skinny jeans, for some women, is admittedly better than sex. The poll was conducted online last month, and is a sampling of how 2200 British women felt about the satisfaction of fitting into skinny jeans compared to sex. What do you think?
