Asthma is very painful dieses. Many people suffer for asthma but there are not permanent cure of the problem. The inhaler works very well for instant use and the long term inhalers are also good to use but there is no guarantee that the asthma will be cured by hundred percent. So in parallel to the medicines, the doctors suggest some breathing exercises for the asthma patients. These exercises also cannot clear the problem but it can help to control the asthma.
Most of these breathing exercises are well established from the ancient period. These exercises are not only suggested for the asthma patients but also for the general people as these exercises are very effective for keeping the lungs in good shape and fit.
The best way of breathing exercise goes as follows. First seat comfortably. You might seat on a chair or on a bed, but you have to be comfortable. It’s better not to wear any tight dress and wear cotton. Then you have to close your eyes and take a long deep breath. Make your chest full with oxygen.
Keep it inside as long as you can and then release the air very slowly. Then repeat the process again and again. The best way is to do the process for at least five minutes for a week. After a week, increase the timing and make it fifteen.
If you feel it very hard to continue for fifteen minutes take a one minute rest after every five minutes. Also increase the timing of keeping the air inside your chest with more practice. This procedure will increase the ability of your lungs and there will be a noticeable change to your breathing problem.
